Hello, This is Mats Norberg from Borlänge in Sweden. I'm very interested in buying a Sound Forge Pro-programme though I'm a true collector of 78 rpm-records from the 1930s. I have a friend who is also a collector of those records abroad who also use Sound Forge Pro to clean the sound of noise and cracks. He is very pleased with the Sound Forge Pro. I'm about to order the Sound Forge Pro-version but I have an important question to ask: Does Sound Forge Pro works with Windows 7 64-bits? Please let me know because I'm very interested in bying it. / Very best wishes from Mats Norberg.

Yes, Sound Forge Pro is compatible with Windows 7 64-bit.
I have Sound Forge 9.0e build 441 which appears to be the last upgrade. Have used it for years. Is there a Sound Forge 10 I use it for key changes changing recordings to MP3s and for pitch changes. And for smoothing live recordings. Am I safe or is Sony going to stop supporting it? And if I have SF9 do I get any break on the cost if I have to upgrade? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!

There are newer versions of the Sound Forge application, but they're available on the Magix website since Sony sold the application to them. I recommend you check their new website in order obtain additional details about the new versions of the software as well.
I suggest you download and install the latest updates for Sound Forge 8.0 from the official web page. Scroll down to Sound Forge 8.0 tab and click the Download button. If this doesn't solve the problem, try to play the DVF files with Sony Digital Voice Player. It is a free Sony Corporation application that is specialized to open DVF, ICS, MSV and WAV files. If the player doesn't open them, it means that files are corrupted.
How can I buy Sound Forge version 7 in Serbia? When I try to register the trial version it doesn't offer Serbia among the countries. I can pay by Italian Visa card.
